My 4 year old loved the kids area at Volcano bay but I'm not sure it would be as good for a 2 yr old. Typhoon lagoon had raft rides he could do with us and loved. He also enjoyed the kids area but it felt more geared to smaller kids and wasn't as large. Volcano bay he was restricted to the kids area for slides. If you go in the wave pools stay to the sides much calmer for younger ones.

My favourite for thrill rides was Aquatica but this last trip in May we went to Volcano Bay for the first time and all voted it the best.
It wasn’t helped by the fact that we went to Aquatica on a Saturday (expected to be really busy and it was) - due to staffing levels, apparently normal now for the Seaworld parks, some of the rides were not open or so poorly staffed that not all the options on each ride were available. It also didn’t seem as clean and well maintained as we thought in the past. We were very disappointed with Aquatica this trip
