holding off getting a virgin credit card
I got a virgin credit card and received some great air miles as part of a promotion
the amount of miles dropped in the latest offer as they added no fees to purchases outside the uk this offer is due to end today so am hoping that virgin Atlantic credit card brings back the 15000 or 30,000 airmiles depending on card choice later in the week anyone else holding out for this to happen |

No, but use ours for everything and the miles soon add up. I got ours when they had miles on offer. After this years trip to Florida we should have enough for flights to Las Vegas.

I have the free one wish I had paid but in just over a year I have racked up enough for three returns to west coast.

The new offer is out. Less than the last one. 2000 extra for the no fee card and 10000 extra for the fee card.
Offer until 31st October. Doing my calculations to see if it will work for us.

Cheers for that
To get the extra 10,000 miles you need to spend £3000 in 90 days plus 1.5 miles per £1 spent Is it possible to cancel all your direct debits through your bank and pay them as a direct debit through the card Then when the statement becomes due pay off the card via the bank If you get 15000 miles (without spending £3k to get the extra 10000miles) it will cost you £160 in a yearly fee. Would this on it's own be beneficial or would you best put the £160 towards the flight I know to buy 15000 air miles via virgin it would cost £225 plus a £15 handling fee Edited at 07:02 AM. |

I got the free one last year and we put all our spending on it. I have a spreadsheet that shows me what I have earn and would have earned with the paid card Excluding bonuses I’d still be 25,000 miles better off with the paid card and crucially with the paid card and the companion voucher we’d have enough for all three of us to manage a flight every year. With the sign up bonus it’s definitely worth it at least for a year for us
I read on a points site that many people still get the bonus if they already have the free card |
