Beach Club or Yacht Club
Hi
I’m looking for some advice. It is 11 years since we were last in Orlando and we want to stay at a Disney hotel for part of our stay. We are having 4 nights at Loews Royal Pacific to cover Universal days but can’t decide which Disney hotel. I’m thinking BC or YC cause of their location. What is the difference between the two? There will be 2 adults and an 8 year old. Thanks for your help! |

We have stayed at The Beach Club twice. The hotels link so you can walk from one into the other it is the theming that is different. One has a beach theme and the other has a yacht theme. They share the same pool and water slides so I think either of them would be good. We loved the Beach Club both times we have stayed there and would go back again.

Stayed at yacht club and the differences I’m aware of are that the yacht club has full balcony’s and is more adult than the beach club

I love the Beach club but have never stayed, as it was booked up on the date we wanted last year we ended up at the Boardwalk just beside it which was superb so may add that to you possibilities list so close to Epcot a 8min walk

I would say that the yacht club has a much more grown up feel about it. The beach club would be better for a family as it has more of a buzz about it.

Thanks for your replies. I’ll take a look at the Boardwalk too. Seems to be the right area I think and not too far from the Springs area either

We absolutely loved the beach club. More of a relaxed feel than the yacht.

I've stayed at Bc twice now and the yacht club once.
YC def has a more adult feel to it and seemed, to me, a little more stuffy. As you've got an 8yr old, (our children are roughly the same age) I would choose the BC. In fact I've just booked there to go again next August! Boardwalk? no way it has a clown in the pool area! |

Never stayed at the BC but we are huge fans of the YC, counting down to two weeks there from the 16th of November.
