last year i used the post office and tescos

you can still use them over there but it is getting more difficult now

dollar tree NO
walmart YES and NO food shopping yes electrical no (i think i had a bad sales person)

nike at the premium outlet mall NO

theme parks YES

looking at the cards for next year or cash

We will still take them but where we used to use then as cash I think I will cash them in our hotel every few days.

Sorry to jump in but we are stayijg at POR next year i have a revolut Card but they charge after getting a certain ampunt of cash out if we get travelers cheques can we cash them in at hotel so we have cash or is there a fee aswell?

I rang both Covent Garden and Thomas Exchange (who I've got cheques from previously) yesterday and both said they've stopped doing them now as the rate they get them for now is so poor that it's not worth them selling them.

From what I've seen the Post Office seems to be the best bet now but the rate is a couple of cents less than you'd get from the likes of Covent Garden/Thomas Exchange for $ in cash. When I last got them 3 years ago I got the same rate for them as cash

You can change $200 per day at reception, no charge. You can also use them to pay your room bill.
