doing the parks before checking in

Hi,
I'm almost 100% certain I can do this but just want to see if anyone else has done so, I'm travelling in November, staying at the Cheyenne, we will our flight leaves Manchester at 0730 so will be at the park ready to go at dinner time I guess but we can't check in until 1500, and it says on my booking I won't receive my tickets until I check in, so my question is can I go to the Cheyenne as soon as I get there leave my luggage with concierge and pick up our park tickets and go the parks then return after 1500 to pick up our room key?

yes, we always do. If flying we usually arrive at our DLP hotel at around 9.30am, check in, collect our park tickets, leave our luggage, and head off to the parks for the day, usually only returning when we're done for the day or when the parks close, to collect our room key and luggage, and head off to bed . The only proviso I'd make for that plan is that the luggage stores usually close for the evening at 10pm, so make sure you've collected your luggage before then.

Yes, we planned our holiday around doing this - it would have been a huge waste of a day's ticket for us if we couldn't go to the parks until after getting into our room. We travelled down the day before, stayed in the B&B overnight, then arrived at the Cheyenne first thing in the morning. We picked up our tickets, went to the park for the day, and then went back to get into our room at about 8pm. It was my birthday on our first ever day at DLP, so I wanted to make the most of every minute.

Next holiday isn't so good, as we can't arrive until lunchtime, but we'll be getting park tickets first, then going back to the DLH for our room key once the children need to drop into bed!
