spending money

Hi Guys,

New to the forum but not to orlando

I should not be asking this as i have been 3 times, but this time we are going on a budget.

We have brought park tickets and will be staying in a hotel that has a cooked breakfast included, there are 2 adults and 1 child aged 8.

We are looking at lunch in the parks and dinner on international drive, going for 14 nights and a few bits and pieces as gifts.

How much did everyone else take?

Thanks for helping!

Can't wait to get back there!

Laura

We eat in the parks and then dine out every night on I-drive.

We load a card and budget for $100 dollars a day for food and drink which is for two of us. This usually is more than enough.

Depends on which sort of places you want to eat mind.

Last year we did a bit of everything, Disney table service, character breakfast, and snacks, takeaways, nice meals out. We are 3 adults and a 12 year old and we managed fine on $150 a day. Use the free iced water in the parks and it will save a fortune in drinks costs.

We took £2000 for staying off site for 2 adults 1 child (7) and did everything we wanted during the 13 nights we stayed.

I kept a record on our 3-adult spending over our 12 night Orlando holiday in March, 6 at Disney on DDP, 3 at Universal and 3 on I-Drive. Overall we spent (inc DDP "spending") $2,000 on food, including alcoholic drinks, plus $230 on tips and $110 on Uber's.
