Need to book Kennedy Space Centre tickets?

Can anyone tell me if you need to book Kennedy Space Centre tickets on a Saturday mid August? We'll just be doing the basic bus tour.

Thanks

Not for the basic bus tour, although you might not get on the first bus, they're pulling up as soon as one is full and pulls away, so the wait is no more than a few minutes. The bus tour takes different routes (you all see the same things, just in a different order) so you're not all arriving at the Saturn center at the same time.

It may be cheaper for you to get your tickets in advance, I have just been looking into going in August and found them cheapest through American Airlines.

Does anyone know if I can buy a package of basic entry tickets with dine with an astronaut?
Last time we got ones though ATD but these include a long (2hour) bus tour - not the basic short bus tour.

We saved $28 by using the stay and play card... worth the £10 just for that plus all the other places we used it.

Where do you buy this? And where did you get your space centre tickets from?

I'd recommend booking in advance with Florida Tix - got ours a couple of weeks back and saved some cash. Also makes it easier / quicker on the day. They are open tickets so valid for any day in a 12 month period.
