I’m not familiar with WDW hotels so I have no suggests about what to ask for. It’s the wasted time from a very expensive holiday that would annoy me.
What I will say is work out what you want before you speak to management, (keep it realistic, don’t take the “Mickey” 😂 ). Tell them calmly but assertively. Don’t “ask”, “tell”. Then don’t say anything else, let the manager think and speak. If you’re not happy with what they offer, say so and keep quiet. I hope you will let us know how you get on ! Good luck |

My expectation would be a room change and either taking the time restrictions of your fast passes or issuing you with new fast passes.
Hope you are able to get things sorted quickly and enjoy your new room.

Why do you have to move rooms would it not be better to replace the beds whilst you are out. I would also look for some compensation for the inconvenience.

I would expect the cost of the room for the first night back as you haven got what you paid for. I would expect my luggage to be moved for me. Not sure why this will ruin a park day. It’s not going to take you more than an hour tops to pack back up surely? Sounds like you’ve been very unlucky. I’ve never had a bad bed experience with 11 on site stays.

We arrived at the Beach Club yesterday and we have no complaints at all. Lovely room with plenty of space for the three of us.
Re the point about club level we had asked about the possibility of upgrading at check-in. They said it wasn't available this week as they were upgrading the WiFi and the club level was out of commission for the next few days. Advantages of arriving from the UK means that we're up in the middle of the night and off to HS soon. Good luck with the room. Edited at 10:45 AM. |

I’ve noticed problems with the beds at Beach Club as well. Last year one of ours was awful and I wish I had complained. This year I saw them changing a mattress. The one they were bringing out was clearly worn (massive dent in the memory foam) and a brand new one went in. A few days later I saw a few packaged mattresses in a staff only room. I think they have a stock of spares. In my view they know they are of an age to cause problems but they wait for complaints before changing.

the only thing I could fault the BC beds (club level) on, is how high they were.
I'm short legged, with a very bad back, and I almost had to jump up a couple inches to get my butt on the matress it was a somewhat unpleasant experience I never encountered at another disney resort, where I could actually sit on the bed with my feet touching the ground. At BC I felt like a child, feet dangling a couple of inches above the ground |

So an update now I have a few minutes.
The following morning we were given a new room that would be available later that day and told to clear our room. I said we will be staying in the old room until the new one was ready as we shouldn't be left roomless for the day and no one could use it anyway. This was agreed by management. We put most of our stuff in our cases and went to the park and ended up staying longer in the park anyway. When we came back I went to reception and when the lady brought up our details, i said we need to pack our stuff and empty the safe. she vanished for 15 minutes, then a supervisor started looking at it before a senior manager came over. I think they were seeing who was brave enough to come speak to me. Turns out that since staff change over, the old room had been assigned to other guests and there stuff was in there and ours had been moved, but out things were in the safe. We were escorted to the old room to empty the safe and luckily the new guests weren't there. By now I hadn't slept properly for over a day due to the bad bed and snapped. Someone had moved our stuff in cases that weren't closed. The room we had reported with many issues including 2 faulty unusable beds had been given to new guests without the issues being fixed. I stood there and showed the senior manager the faulty beds and her face dropped. Unfortunately we were moved to a room with a faulty wireless point near by so we have no internet in the room, but I'm not moving again. We were given credit refund for 1 night, which due to how expensive the rooms are in dollars is actually 1 1/2 times what we paid, several fast passes and free taxis off site. To be honest though, I would hand it all back not to have had the stress in the first place. After coming from POFQ for a few nights, BC is very disappointing and needs a refurb. Location and pool though are amazing. The original upgrade was for AKL but we changed to BC before we came to try somewhere different.
