Thank you. I asked for my wife's opinion whether I should apply, but when she discovered it took 9 years of training in China to be a Shaolin warrior monk and I couldn't have any contact with my family during that time, she was very encouraging and really pushed me into applying.

I hope you find something which aids your daughter.
My ds used to be a terrible flyer.
He would be sick many, many times throughout the flight.
Several years (and hideous flights later) he eventually stopped being green.

On the diazepam front; my sis-in-law took diazepam for a flight a few years ago &
Rang her gp last week to book an appt for more..
She was told she could have some but had to pay for them-quite happy to prescribe privately & no appt necessary.

I haven't read all the posts but has anybody mentioned a herbal remedy for anxiety called 'Rescue Remedy '. You don't need a prescription or anything and it works as my wife has taken it in the past. Or she has also used ' Kalms' which are a herbal tablet.

I havent read to the end , I had just noticed your daughter is 17 .I thought over 16 was the age for medicak consent and as such the Dr shouldnt have been discussing this with you ?
