Resorts/communities that allow fishing...help please

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if I can call on your knowledge and experience please. Can you tell me which resorts or communities allow fishing (catch and release) but in particular those that have a fishing dock, pier or bridge. I know of Lake Berkley, Terra Verde and Sunset Lakes. The reason I ask is my hubby, whilst I like to spend an hour catching a few rays of lovely Florida sunshine, he prefers to spend an hour catching fish! However, he is not keen on standing in the grass around lake edges... snakes, alligators etc. With your help, I can then look for accommodation in those areas... many thanks in advance

I believe Encantada Resort has a fishing area with a small dock. I’ll let you know for certain as we’re staying there briefly before moving out to our coastal villa

PORS has fishing. Very basic, but still fun.

Sunset lakes has a fishing pier with benches and a cute gazebo...
However many do fish from their villa back yard...there are 2 lakes with villas around
Catch and release of course!
Why not put a request for your dates and desires in the Dibb request section?
then you can sort through from the answers you get
