Universal Fast Pass and Hotel Check In

Hi we plan to stay 3 nights at the Royal Pacific Resort to take advantage on the Fast Pass. My question is that we will check out from Disney in the morning (early) and then travel to Universal for the day. Will I be ale to get my fast pass activated for that day I check in very early in the morning ?. I'm sure others must have done this ? Thanks

Yes your room key is your Express Pass. You can check in as early as you like. We checked in at 7am last time but will probably go a bit later next year now the HP rides are included on the EP.

Your room key is your fast pass. You can check in as early as you like, when we’ve done one night we checked in at 7am and we were lucky that our room was ready so we chucked out overnight bag in the room and then walked to IOA, we were there by 8am and it had early opening. Worked out perfectly.

Is there a facility to leave your luggage and head into the park if you check in super early?

Yes.

We arrived at 8am and our room was ready so we could put our bags in our room before heading out, but yes there is a luggage storage facility (at least at RPR)

Thats great about checking in early. So what about the day you check out ? Is the fast pass valid on this day and if so how does it work - you keep the room key ?

Yes the express pass is valid on that day, still using yoir room key. Your room keys are personalised with your name/check in and out dates so they can't ask for them back really. Again you could leave your bags in the storage until later if you need too.

You keep your key to use for the Express Pass

As you have 3nights/ 5 days of fast passes just take your time., no need to rush.

Having recently looked at this and the costs involved we have found that 1 night and two days of passes will be plenty. I would imagine 3 nights could get very, very expensive depending on how many of you there are and the time of year
