Mobile Post surgery trip

Hi, has anyone and experience of going to dlp after surgery. My daughter got her appendix out on 16th September, we have re-booked for November 12th, will she be okay for most of the rides.

We will be checking with her surgeon but just wanted to hear of any experiences

I think it's an impossible question to answer as everyone's recovery will be different. You'll be best off getting the medical advise as to what she can and cannot go on.

My friend was 3 weeks post appendix out aged 26 at the time and was fine. Hers was keyhole. She went on all rides.

Everyone is different but I’d imagine almost 2 months post op if all hunky dory it shouldn’t impact on her trip 😄

Wow, we feel your pain, our DS10's appendix burst while on our first part of the trip in Holland last year, it was the most stressful time in our lives, although the healthcare was brilliant. Amazingly, we still got to DLP just five days later with the doctor's approval as they did it keyhole..
Disney were incredible, upgraded our rooms to ones nearer the car, organised a wheelchair and disabled passes to skip the queues (upon showing the medical records), and gave each of our three kids 25E each to buy a teddy bear!
So yes, while he skipped any of the shaky ones he was well enough 10 days after surgery to manage Ratatouille (we made him wait till his last day). So as others have said, while healing will vary and see what the doctor says I'm sure she'll be fine for most of it.
You can hire a wheelchair if you do find she's flagging, I think it was 20E a day plus a deposit. We even took him in the wheelchair to see the Eiffel Tower!
