When will park tickets work?

Hi all,

We are staying one night on DVC points before checking into our other disney hotel which is a package with tickets & dining plan. I was wondering if we need to check in at our second hotel for our park tickets to then work? Or will they automatically work on the check in day anyway? (so check out day for the DVC resort)

Tickets bought as part of a package will become valid on your check-in date. I don’t think you have to actually check-in before they start ‘working’ - you can just use them on your DVC check out day.
