Yosemite Cabin/house Rental

Really fancy a cabin in the woods when we stay in Yosemite next August rather than a hotel inside the park as only there for 2 nights. Has anyone done this and got any good tips on where to find one or have stayed in one?

We stayed in blue butterfly bb on the Merced river 1 mile from park entrance, it was first class. My wife would not entertain one of the tents or cabins with the thought of bears about

We stayed in one of the permanent tents when we were there around 12 years ago. Although the internet was in its infancy then we managed to book online.

A bear did come into the camp one night, but we slept through it. You're given a locker to keep food items in as the bears can smell them.

I haven't stayed there but there some house rentals in Yosemite West. They had all sorts of size place when we were doing our research last year. They're located just inside the south entrance to the park.
