How easy (or not) are reward flights to LA?

I have managed to get for last 2 years - I find availability changes all the time. Last year when availability changed I managed to change for £35 each to add a couple of days on to the holiday.

Book as far in advance as possible.

We are flying to LA on the 9th October using reward flights there are 5 of us,booked the flights in April this year with reduced miles 😊😊
