Taxi to Universal?
Hi there everyone
Is it pretty easy to find a reputable taxi firm to take me & my son to Universal from the airport - I've only ever used the magical express to Disney from the airport before but we're going universal 1st this time x |

You can get a taxi from the rank (might be a bit meh) or go to the Mears desk and order one it will only be a few minutes wait. Or you can book a private hire to meet you when you get there - we always use Quicksilver they are fab and the driver will carry all your cases too!

I use Uber but from what I've heard you can't use Uber around MCO airport
Failing that, Mears are always my go to. Not sure they're the cheapest, but definitely reputable |

Uber X cannot pick up from MCO, but there are work arounds (hire car or hotel shuttle to off site location and then use Uber from that location).
If you just want to get to your destination, its probably better to re book one of the options in my post earlier or pick up a regular cab ... Once away from MCO, Uber is a very favorable alternative to regular cabs ... and of course you can get a Uber back to MCO without any problems

Check out the link in the 'Notices' section at the top of the page
I'm planning to use Quicksilver next year to get us from MCO to HRH. Going to splash out for a (stretch) limo so we arrive in style! Can't wait to see the kids' faces!
