Mobile Alamo brits

Booked an suv with Alamo and first time picking up a car at mco I'm doing skip the counter but before I pay for the car was just wondering I don't have a credit card and been told you need to produce one when you leave the garage my sister in law has a credit card so does she need to be down as the main driver on the booking I'll be doing all the driving and know with Alamo Brits you get a free additional driver so that's not a problem but also will she need to pay for the car this end with the same credit card or can I still pay for it and use my debit card sorry if it's a bit confusing I know I could produce my debit card as I leave the garage but had so many problems with my bank last time I don't want to use it again.

I would use the Debit Card. They only swipe it so there should be no problem

Otherwise I would do the booking in your Sisters name and get her to pay for it with her as the lead driver, then add you as the second driver. You can then sort out between yourselves who is paying.

If I do this do they put a hold on the card or is it just so they have my details to Bill me if there is an issue worry as don't want a hold of a few hundred dollars on my debit card.

I can't give you a definitive answer as 90%, me included never have a hold applied. Some do and there is no reason why
However it will be a $200 hold if any.
