Does the CAA website help?

thomascook.caa/custome...rently-abroad/

I hope you manage to get back smoothly.

I note the website seems to say repatriation flights only run upto the 6th October, after that people have to make thier own arrangements.

Aw I’m gutted for everyone involved this has such a far reaching effect .
we booked flights for 5 to go next August £3k on debit card 😢 will hope for being able to get chargeback ! I’m not sure where we stand on this .i don’t hold out much hope of finding similar priced flights even if we get the money back.
but I’m sure there are lots of people in a worse position than we are in right now ! and at least it wasn’t our ‘ first once in a lifetime trip ‘ or our livelihood 😢

In Orlando. I'm gutted for the families with kids. I dived and booked Norwegian flights for my scheduled home day to Gatwick and will get train to Manchester to get my car
As long as I get to UK I couldn't care about the hassle. If I get a repatriate flight then all I've lost is 5oo quid to Norwegian
I can fight Barclays when I get back
Again. Please think of the families with kids. I know I am

Edited at 03:55 AM. Reason: Typo

Booked flights this morning with Air France, flying on Virgin plane. They were dearer than TC but over £1000 cheaper for all 6 of us than Virgin. Weird, same plane, same PE, but cheaper. We're lucky in a way that ours were just flights and paid on cc, money will be returned to same credit card that I've re-booked with.

Traditionally, Delta are also a better value source of tickets for Virgin Atl aircraft.

Congrats on your purchase!
