Million dollar question which i have asked so many times!
We are offsite 2 weeks, have a car but will use uber sometimes. Intend to do quite a bit shopping, eat large breakfast with snack in park and meal on way home or takeaway, we are taking 4k (2 adults and 8 year old). Would hate to be there and think cant do what want.

£4k for 2 adults and a child! Crikey, I'm underestimating how much to take for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Got car and villa. I thought £2k . Keep forgetting I don't get $2.1 to a £1 anymore. Those were the days!

We seem really tight compared to everyone else! 😂. We only take enough to cover us. We are not foodies so happy to eat simple food (but healthy) and we no longer shop. So we allow $100 a day for the 3 of us!

We had three weeks earlier this year and budgeted for $150 per day, some days we spend more some less but work out ok. We stayed in a villa off site had a car and all tickets pre bought, we also ate out about every dinner and lunch. For two adults and a 4 year old.

This time we're 2 adults and DD (13) staying offsite with car for 15 days, 1 day AK, MNSSHP, 3 days Universal, 2 days Seaworld with dining offer, KSC, Wild Florida and here and there and budgeting £100 a day.

Due to the exchange rate not anticipating doing as much shopping as usual but will use our credit/debit card for this. The £100 is to cover food, snacks, fuel and parking but anything left over will probably be spent on caramel M&M's to bring home! We will eat breakfast in the villa, takes snacks and drinks to the parks, eat out probably once a day with mixture of cheap and dearer meals, sandwich or similar and ice cream on nights back at villa. We also will take cereal, bars, chocolate and odd bits of food with us as DH is celiac and we find cereal etc so much dearer over there.

Edited at 02:55 PM.
