DLP booked march 14 with 2 year old!

Hi, been reading as a guest for few days and thought I'd join!
We have finally booked a 5d/4n trip to SL in golden forest room.
We got free HB and I already plan for cafe Mickey dinner one night.
We went and got engaged in 08 but are now taking our Disney fan of a 2 year old, grandparents joining us too so a great family affair.
Any tips, advice etc would be really welcome, along with the shared excitement over 19 weeks to go!

Firstly congratulations. As to tips. Read some trippiesand watch some video trips before you go. Don't just run from attraction to attraction take in the themeing. Use EMH. Not everything is open, but you will get some big rides that get big queues before they open the doors. Fastpass is very useful. Get an early breakfast slot (7am) so you can get to EMH.
Just enjoy the experience and don't try to do it all too quickly.

Thanks, I'm so excited, remember WDW magic when I was young.
Hoping to go slow and steady. Looking through all the many reports on here has been great, have lists in my phone already!

Amazing, please give me all your tips! I so want it to be amazing. I'm looking through all the reports still.
I showed her a parade video yesterday and she pointed out Mickey, I told her we're going to see him soon and she got her shoes on... I want to go now too honey!
