Adult/child dining credits

We have planned a meal at the yachtsman. We are 2 adults 1 x10year old and a 8 year old. Due to our daughters age she has the adults dining plan but it's doubtful she will eat an adults meal at the yachtsman (especially as it's our last night). So we were thinking of ordering a child's meal for our daughter- would we be able use our sons child's credist for it?
So essentially we would pay with 4x adult TS credits and 4x child TS credits.

I don't know the answer to your question but I had asked a few weeks ago could we use credits for adults and pay for our 13 year old OOP as he would only eat minimal and definitely not 2 credits worth and the answer was yes. Just let you server know when paying the bill.

No you can't, if paying by credits you'd have to use an adult one for your 10yr old even if they have a children's meal. No problem to pay out of pocket for it though

As you only have one "Disney" child, not 2, you can either use 6A TS, 2Child TS, or if you prefer 4A TS, 2 Child TS and share the meals between the four of you, or pay cash/credit card for an extra child's meal.

As you can now use credits to pay for other people at TS meals I don't see this being an issue HOWEVER we never have the DDP so can't say for sure.

There was a table at YS last week and two were on the DDP but were paying for all 5 meals using their credits without problem.
