Naples is lovely but again its a fair drive for a day, it took us at least 3 hrs to get to Naples from Orlando as it was a lot of smaller roads.

We really love Naples for a bit of a chill time and would recommend Jungle Larrys zoo, a proper air boat ride in the everglades or dolphin tour from the dock.

When we visited the keys we drove to Fort Myers - overnite stay; On to Sanibel and then across Florida to the keys - we stayed at Marathon (about half way down the Keys). On our return we stopped at Miami and then took the Florida Turnpike back to Orlando.

Paul - I think I'll have a go at a south Florida trip just as you've explained it (even being from Orlando I could'nt have planned a better trip!)
