Absolutely 14 if at all possible. I have done 10 though and it is still decent, particularly if you are limited on annual leave from work. I like having the extra time and don't feel so guilty taking some down time.

Always as long as possible. The ordeal is the long haul flight at each end, which is unpleasant, whichever airline you choose.
We always want to have as much time there as possible after that ordeal. If looking at Seaworld, is it also worth doing a Discovery Cove ultimate to use up those extra days and also get free car parking throughout? Your children would undoubtably be blown away at that age with the rays swimming around their feet.

I'd say 14! We were originally going to go for 10, but we are so glad we didn't. We spent 4 full days in Disney parks and realistically needed 6, but we are two adults.

I've done 15 days multiple times and 10 days twice. So 14 and 9 nights. The longer the better but you can have a great trip over 9 nights if you're focusing on Disney. However. In my experience the kids always want more pool time than you plan for and this is what suffers on shorter trips.

Not the odd one out - we often go for 10 nights - sometimes 11, I'm sure 14 days would be fantastic, but the extra cost including annual leave is a factor.
For Disney and some shopping, you will be fine for 10 days, and have time for a day at Seaworld... enjoy however many nights you can (and remember it is rarely a oncein a lifetime trip there will almost certainly be a next time)

We did 10 days in 2014 with our kids who were 8 & 5 at the time. It was a frantic 10 days, and the kids really enjoyed it, but it was bloody exhausting with no rest days.
Personally I'd always go for 14 days minimum with young children. |

It's a long way a jet lag makes those first few days shorter. Def 14.

10 is better than 0, but 14 is definitely better than 10!
It's hard to comprehend how tiring it is, how much there is to do and how big the whole area is! More is definitely better, especially when it's such a long journey, that day 1 and the last day are travel days.
