My lazy trip report with food and wedding pics
Hi!
I always take photos of all of my meals when we’re in Florida, and then I’m too lazy to complete a proper trip report. So I thought I’d just post up all of my photos and as I get chance to add text to it, I will! We travelled out for my brother’s wedding and were there over Easter. We stayed in a villa in Windsor Palms which was a lovely area that I'd recommend to anyone looking in the Formosa Gardens area. There was a large party of us going to the wedding, but I travelled with DH, our 12 year old twins, and my parents. I'm a vegetarian but the others aren't. Night before the flight- premier inn Manchester We usually get a pizza to take back to the hotel, but we arrived quite late and just needed fed. They'd ran out of pizza bases so we just ordered what you can see below and then went to have donuts in bed! Edited at 08:43 PM. |

Flight day
We were travelling from Manchester with Virgin. We parked at JetParks and took our usual photo to make sure we could find our car on the return. We've got insurance with Barclays and with that we intended to use one of the lounges, but they were full. Actually, one wasnt full but said they were waiting on a flight coming in and so wouldn't let us in as we hadn't prebooked. I explained how we couldn't prebook with our insurance, and she told us from the 1st April we could. This didn't help us on the 30th March but may be useful to others or in the future! So we just got pastries from a stall and forgot to photograph them! The flight was fine, we were fed well and I got to watch Coco again! We picked up our car that we'd hired through Alamo and went to the Winn Dixie supermarket near our villa. Our sat nav took us through lots of toll roads on a way we hadn't been before, but we were fine and had plenty of change. I don't know what so exciting about American supermarkets, but I love them!

Thanks for the comments! I'm on the laptop now so can go back and add a few more details to what I've put, and should be able to add a few more photos.

Day 1 - Magic Kingdom
Breakfast at Chef Mickey's We valet parked at The Contemporary and had a look around at the Easter eggs they had, before going up to Chef Mickey's. Once we'd had breakfast, we went over to MK for some rides and some snacks. Afterwards, the bride's parents held a welcome party at their villa which was insane! It was huge, had a cinema, an outdoor bar, a giant fishtank... it was beaut!Though I did wonder who fed the fish when it was empty. They got food from supermarkets and platters from Costco.
