Ways to get to Disney hotel from MCO

I know there is a Mears coach service available... how easy is it to get a taxi on the day?

I’ve heard differing reports of how long the coach can take.

The coach journey time would depend on the order of drop offs? If your hotel is the first it’ll be quick, if it’s last it’ll take ages. Hence the differing reports?

You can prebook Mears private transfers as well. This is what we ended up doing as it was cheaper than 5 of us doing the coach services and meant we didn't have to worry about getting a taxi once there.

I’ve also read good reviews on here about a company called ‘The sunshine flyer’. Might be worth a look.

Thanks for the succinct response Softy.
We’ll be staying at the Beach Club... would that be one of the first or the last?

It’d depend on where others on your coach are going? I assume they’d make the route when they allocate everyone to a coach. Isn’t that how shared transfers work?

Personally I would never use them. If I haven’t got a car, I’d pay the extra for an Uber/private transfer. It’s never much more unless you’re on your own. Nothing worse after getting off a long flight.

Thanks Softu. Yes I think we’ll opt for an Über.
Regarding shared transfers, I have no idea how they work, never having used them before 👍🏻

I go solo and Uber would cost a lot for me (I've used the fare estimator a few times). I can't drive and previously used ME which was fine as I use buses all the time at home. So I've booked Sunshine Flyer for this year's trip.

Yeah I said it’d cost a lot more if you’re on your own.
