Airport transfers - recommendations?
We need a transfer from MCO to Caribbean Beach Resort for our family of 5. No idea where to start or which company to choose. Has anyone used a company they’d recommend. We are 5 for need a larger vehicle or coach transfer and are also budget conscious- not after a limo! Thanks

Have a look at the Sunshine Flyer. It's a coach transfer, similar to the old Disney Magical Express. They often have promo offers on too. We saved 25% with one of them. If you follow their Facebook page, you'll see them on there. They get very good reviews too

Sunshine Flyer has a deal where kids are free at the moment! Its $16 per adult(10+) one way.
You might need two Ubers with that many people with luggage. 1 x UberXL(good for 3 people with luggage) is $54 one way

We use a company called Florida transport. Their drivers are very professional and full of advice about the best things to do and places to visit. Their rates are very competitive. We have used them for 20 years snd would never book anyone else. They can also arrange car hire for you too also at competitive rates.

I too am struggling a bit with this. We are usually car hire people but as we are on site at Universal for two weeks this time, there is no need.
I have got lost a bit in the options for airport transfers. We don’t want a shuttle as they are too convoluted - I want direct! So it’s Uber, Lyft, “normal” rank taxi or booked transfer. Skippy transport gets a lot of love here but oddly, they don’t do Tuesdays in July and August and we arrive on a Tuesday. We looked at a lot of options and most are in the $120 range - plus tip. We are 4 adults essentially (kids are 16/18) Uber seems to be in the $45 range but I worry about surge pricing etc. Rank taxis are generally metered and they seem to be in the $65 range. Also wouldn’t mind a grocery stop off, but that does add complication so we probably won’t. Tiffany Towncar does that and it’s $95 plus tip which is tempting. But no one can vouch for them thus far. For someone so Orlando experienced, I feel a bit like a newbie with all this! I know how easily you can be ripped off or let down by taxis if you get it wrong! Edited at 09:37 AM. |

We have booked with Lanier Transportation. They charge $75 from Disney to MCO for five passengers plus luggage.
They were recommended by a vlogger "Epic Phil" and their reviews were very positive. We have not yet travelled with them. You pay for your transportation when you book and they also call you. We booked them for all our transfers and it was much less for us than hiring a car. |

That’s a really good price! How did you book with Lanier transportation?
