Good Camera
Hi guys and recommendations on a good camera - we are doing a few scenic trips and want to make sure we have a decent camera.
Thanks |

Depends a lots on your budget. I've just bought a Sony RX100 which is incredible but with little change from £1000 it's not cheap. I've heard a lot of good things about the Canon G7X.

I think if you're going on a scenic trip and want some decent photos that maybe you can print or put on a canvas when you're back then get a DSLR. If you just want some family style pictures then maybe go for a point and shoot?
I've got a Canon G7x and a Nikon D3300, both are great cameras but I would rely more on my DSLR if I'm going somewhere scenic! |

I have a Nikon D3200 and I also have the D3300 at work. I have found it easy to use with good results.

After going to and from a decision for what seems like forever, I've pre-ordered the TZ60 from Curry's as it is currently on offer and there is a £20 cashback deal on, meaning it comes in just below £200 which is a cracking deal as it's a decent camera by all accounts.
We're spending so much on the holiday - whilst you can go again you only live experiences once, you'll never get the opportunity to snap those moments, those truly special family moments again. I don't want to risk low quality with my iPhone (or missing the moment with a slow shutter speed!) and therefore, I easily justified the purchase! Going to collect it today from Curry's! I'll post a review today after playing around and hope to blog my trip! |
