Beware The Snack Police - Single Digit Dance...

I have already written a pre-trip report as I was intending to write a food report on our trip - however, I now think it will be simpler to use the app to post updates while we are away...

So today we can do the single digit dance in our house! It has been a long time coming and in just 9 days time we will be flying from Glasgow to Sanford for the start of a 3 week trip. We actually live in Yorkshire so will be traveling up to Glasgow next Thursday and staying overnight at the Premier Inn at the airport.

So in honour of SDD day I will do a quick recap of intros for you... then leave you in peace until our Premier Inn meal deal next week!

I'm S, 43, enjoying a break from teaching for the summer hols... trying to get everything sorted for September before we leave for the holiday.

We have been dieting for what seems like forever in order to knock some excess weight off before we put it all back on via the DDP & Universal meal cards while we are away! I'm currently obsessing about snacks I'm going to be enjoying - voodoo doughnuts, Cinnabon & dole whips...

This is N, my husband who has just turned 50... he has joined me on the diet and the weight has just dropped off him (grrrrr) so he is definitely ready to start eating excessively next week!

This is our daughter, L, who will turn 17 while we are on holiday... She has just finished her first year of sixth form and is starting to think about University- gulp!

And finally J, our 14 year old son, who is looking forward to giving his thumbs a rest while we are away...

He hates plane food so we need a Boots meal deal plan for him for the journey!

We are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel for a week. During this time we are hoping to eat at:

We have bought 4 Universal meal plans each so that we have paid for some of the food upfront. I'll let you know how these work out.

We will then move to Old Key West for 2 weeks on the DDP.

Thanks everyone - it is getting very exciting now and was very difficult to sleep last night! House clean today, deliver cat to parents tomorrow- wait for hubby to finish work, then off! Hooray...

Quick question - how do you quote multiple people in the same reply? If I click on quote to reply to someone it only seems to let me reply to that one person, but in other people’s replies I can see a string of quotes - does that make sense? Any help appreciated... Thank you!
