Thoughts on our itinerary for May/June 2018

Hi,

Well, i've not been as organised as I should've been and had a little meltdown when ADR day arrived and I had no plan in place So i'd appreciate your thoughts on our itinerary for our 3 week trip going on Friday 18th May.

We have been before, but this is our first time as just the four of us (2 Adults and 2 children; DS 11 and DD 6). We are staying in a lovely DIBB owners townhouse on Regal Oaks for the 3 weeks, but do have a 1 night stay booked at Disney (to test it out and get our magicbands etc ) and a 4 night stay booked at HRH in the middle of our holiday where we plan to hopefully get a good mix of the parks, hotel pool and citywalk.

I've kept some evenings free as we want to be flexible and see how we feel and plan to eat and the many lovely restaurants outside the Disney bubble, including Olive Garden etc.

I've used the busy day guide to help me, so here we go:

Day 1 - Arrive at villa and unpack, Publix and collapse into bed!
Day 2 - MK until mid afternoon, pool and dinner around Oldtown
Day 3 - Arrive at Disney Boardwalk for 1 night stay, Fantasia Mini Golf, Beaches & Cream Lunch, pool time at the hotel, into Epcot for FP's and illuminations
Day 4 - Breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno, HS, dinner at 50's prime time cafe, may stay for Star Wars fireworks?
Day 5 - lazy morning (pool), arrive AK for lunch ADR at Rainforest cafe and stay for Rivers of Light
Day 6 - Blizzard Beach and the evening at Disney Springs for dinner - any suggestions? Not T-Rex thanks!
Day 7 - Lazy morning, MK, BBB reservation for 4pm for DD and CRT booked for 5.25pm, may stay for Happily Ever After?
Day 8 - Discovery Cove (our wedding anniversary!)
Day 9 - Free day; Florida Mall/Premium Outlets Vineland
Day 10 - Pool/Free day, dinner at Sanaa
Day 11 - Check-in to HRH, IOA and pool
Day 12 - US
Day 13 - Volcano Bay
Day 14 - IOA
Day 15 - US, check out and head back to the villa
Day 16 - Pool, Celebration, Old Town Car Show and dinner
Day 17 - MK and early dinner at Whispering Canyon
Day 18 - HS (hoping to book Star Wars Tour for DH & DS)
Day 19 - AK, Disney Springs for dinner
Day 20 - Epcot
Day 21 - Later start, MK, lunch ADR at BOG and stay for Happily Ever After if not seen earlier
Day 22 - pool, pack and home

Thanks

That looks great, a nice mix of park days, water park days and rest times.

We are going end of May - you don’t have a lot of Epcot time at the start and the flower and garden festival is on then with great exhibits, food stalls and musical shows. Have you seen who is performing and when? May be worth throwing in an Epcot day before it finishes on 28 May.

Otherwise am very jealous of how long your holiday is! Have a fab time x

I’ve just had a look and can’t believe we miss the village people by a week I didn’t realise they had music acts on. Think we’ll be eating and drinking our way round Epcot on our first evening there. We are staying at Boardwalk, so no driving and yes we’ll have the kids but a a few vinos will be rather nice

I know! Am gutted to be missing quite a few acts I’d like to see. I’ve been before for the food and wine festival and saw Starship and Jon Sicada and one other, was fab!

Have a great time!
