We all have our budgets I agree but I don't see these as an everyday item. You could treat yourself to a couple of these sausages surely? At £2.55 for 5 that's 51pence per sausage.
Many grocery items are well over £3 per 500 grams these days. Cheese comes to mind.It's all about how much you want to buy.
Just checked and Tesco Premium sausages are £5.75 a kilo.

Only 3 days after Bonfire Night and Waitrose have already stopped selling the toffee apple sausages. ...Shame they didn't allow for 'word of social media mouth', would have liked to try these.

Oooh, gin olives! Described on their website as "Pitted green olives in a gin, juniper and lemon zest dressing" ~ mm ~ and not available.

Why do they always stop the nice stuff? ...Or, "improve" it!
