Has anyone stayed in AKL value suites
Hi
AKL is our home resort and we usually stay in a standard studio in Kidani but in a bit to stay as long as we can for our points we have booked value suite at Jambo. Has anyone stayed there and what are the differences between the value and standard suites? Thanks |

Hi
We too are owners at AKV and for us the value rooms are absolutely the best thing about owning there! We've had both value studios and one beds, and for us, the only noticeable difference has been the lack of the sleeper sofa in the one bed - so when we took my mum back in august, we had to book a standard one bed to accommodate the five of us. Techinally the value rooms are smaller than the other types, but we have never noticed (although I will qualify this by saying that we also own at BLT, and ive heard so many people, (usually American friends), saying how pokey the studios are there & how they are only really acceptable for two people sharing for a max of a couple of nights - well we are a family of four and have absolutely no problem sharing a studio there for a fortnight! -so maybe we are just weird?!) The four of us are returning to a value studio for 11nights in August - basically a 'bonus' trip - because the value rooms are so low on points, we can squeeze out an extra holiday - winner! Thanks. I'd looked at pictures and could see too much of a difference. And the extra holiday is a bonus.

Tbh if you usually stay in standard view studios at Kidani, you might even find that you like the Jambo value studios even better, as you've got a chance at a good view! - we've always ended up with a pool view in the value rooms, and in fact we like the pool views so much, that if we ever book a standard room, we now always opt for one at Jambo, as the standard views there are all of the pool
I think the only negative I can think of, is that if you prefer the quietness of Kidani and their pool, then obviously having all of the values being at Jambo would be a negative. But personally I prefer the lobby at Jambo and much prefer having direct access to Mara and Boma. I also prefer the pool there too (although my boys would disagree about the pool - but at least it's a short stroll to Kidani and as I say, they are getting an extra vacation - so who's grumbling! ) |

We've only stayed at Jambo for a couple days before and it was nice to be near the Mara but I'm with your sons. I like the Kidani pool but we are going November next year so it's not as big a consideration. Thanks 😄

We've stayed in a value studio, view over the tree tops and car park. We've also had a value one bed with Savannah view. Both great.
I've just booked 3 nights in a value studio for this May, they are roomy enough for me! |
