Upgrading 14 day ultimate to DVC annual pass

Hi,
Can anyone give me any advice as to the best way to upgrade our 14 day ultimate tickets you DVC annual passes.
Would ideally like the gold passes but as we are there till 22nd December we would not be able to use them from the 19th due to the blackout dates. My question is if I upgraded them on the day we leave would they let me upgrade to the gold pass or say I had to buy the platinum pass. Hope that all makes sense.
All advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jackie

As you have already used them I doubt they will allow you to upgrade to the gold pass! But give DVC a call and they can help you more than me

As per Helen. The upgrade price so I undertand is on a sliding scale depending on how many days of the original ticket are remaining.

Im sure I have read that you cannot upgrade a ticket in the Park on your last day of use as technically it has expired. Might be worth checking as I can't find it online.

Thanks Mr Tom Morrow,
Our passes are 14 day passes and we are only there 7 days. I bought 14 day passes with the intention of upgrading them as they were the same price as 7 day ones.We are there twice again next year but don't want the platinum ones as aren't bothered about water parks especially for the extra cost involved.
Our last day in WDW is the 21st before we head of to join the Magic in Miami for 7 nights. My main concern is can we upgrade to the gold dvc pass on our last day as the 19th is the start of the blackout dates for the gold so will they say we have to upgrade to platinum for the sake of those two days we have used.
Thanks
Jackie

Jackie. I dont know sorry. I know they struggle with the upgrades as they are an infrequent request albeit it appears from reading others posts that the Managers get involved in the process and can do it.
I think it's all down to the fact that Dibbers are using a UK only ticket not an American one.
Best of luck

Thanks,
Fingers crossed I get someone who knows how to do it. From reading other posts Disney Springs seems to be best place to do it so will try there 😓

We always pop in there the 1st day once a year to collect the plastic 'pass' for our DVC renewal AP's.
They are so efficient, you sit down until they call you and they have nice lemon flavoured water in a cooler!
Bear in mind it's moved and no longer in the building by the Cooperative shop and is further into the Springs area - nearer to Jock Lindsays basically.
