Mobile Revolt card

Hey everyone.

I’m off to America in September and I’m considering getting a revolt card.
Are they good to use in America? And do they work all ok when you’ve been out there?

What amount am I allowed to load onto the card in one go? I usually take a cash passport from Thomas cook so looking to do the same with revolt?

Any advice is appreciated

Hi. We have used ours in America for a couple of years now. Very handy and safer than most cards as you can’t control he use with the app. Virtually everywhere takes it. We are off to Florida in September too. And I love the fact that I can preload when the rate is good (not at the minute lol) and easily transfer money from my current account to the app as and when I need it
We have a spare (£5) just in case one gets misplaced when you’re there. You need to make sure it’s set up before your holiday and you can use or transfer any leftover funds to sterling when you get back

Made me chuckle at revolt instead of Revolut Fordie

Some of THESE threads on Revolut may help

Its the best card out there i would say... i have used Fairfx for the last 7 years and its served its purpose well, but after using Revolut this year for a few EU trips and USA, it now gets my vote.

I used Fairfx card, but again once reading the threads on here tried the Revolut Card and never looked back, better exchange rates, nice app and welcome not only in the US, but easy to load up in euros as well

I have just come back from 5 nights in New York where I used Revolut for everything. It worked flawlessly - its now going to be my go-to card for overseas spend. Previously I always used my Clarity card but I prefer the Revolut (I'll still keep the Clarity for when people want to put a hold on money and also as a back up).

There is a limit on how much cash you can draw out without paying a fee. I pay for premium so don’t have this issue, last couple of trips I have drawn money straight out the cash machines at Gatwick on the way through.

Been using it for three years or so now with no problems.

Yes, its £200 a month. I have a card and my wife also has one so that's £400 we can withdraw per month. Didn't need ot draw any out for New York so I reckon £400 in cash would be plenty for 2 weeks in Florida
