I have also been moved from VS135 to VS91. Problem is we booked Economy Delight and they have moved us to Economy Classic seats. Any idea what will happen with this? Delight is completely full! I have a holiday booking and I can’t remember how much extra I paid for Delight seats. No communication from Virgin, I just checked, thanks to this thread.

Depends who you are flying with (as in partner, kids etc) and if you prefer a window view.

We, DH and I, haven’t flown this config before and did some research (SeatSpy etc). Most seats look good. We’ve gone for 1 window, 1 aisle on way out and both have windows on return as seem bit more secluded for sleep. (Wishful thinking..)

If you’re a couple, you might want the ones in the middle, as the outer ones look like it’s not easy to chat as they’re staggered.

If any Dibbers have flown this aircraft in UC, I’d love to hear your thoughts. I’ll miss the 747 where we could eat together on the pull out table. (But we’re finally going back, so I’m not complaining)

I'm gutted as we're in premium so this is obviously a lesser experience on the A330-200.

What is the difference? I’m curious. We have Premium booked for our return and booked the 200, had no idea the 300 was different.

I am curious as to why it is a lesser experience? To be honest I don’t know one plane from the other, so no idea what the difference in planes are, we are also premium and have been moved to front row exit seat which I am not happy about but there is no where else to move to.

On the 300 the seat is 21 inches wide and 38 inch pitch, on the 200 its 17.7 and 36. As my partner is 6'3" any extra space is vital.

Thanks. Is the bigger seat the older seats and the newer ones post a refurb? I haven’t flown Virgin PE for a few years, and I remember the leather seats, are they the old big ones? I do remember them as being better than BA PE.

I guess I will be disappointed with the 200 seats then. (Although I will just be so happy to get to the US that I don’t really mind).

Yes, this is why I was relieved I hadn't ended up booking the 300 flight. I would be gutted to be moved to a 200, since it's the 21" seat that I'm paying for.

If your last flight was on a 747, they were the 21" seats. The 17.7" seats are basically similar to economy seats but with fixed armrests.

That’s a considerable difference. Interesting though when we were moving or flights to December the later flights we were on was about £500 cheaper than the earlier flights., so they have moved us to more expensive flights.

Thanks. I’m not sure which plane I last flew on as it was to Atlanta. I also flew to Orlando in premium and I think I remember it being the same as Atlanta seat wise. That’s really disappointing then! Premium was not cheap and that seat size sounds rubbish compared to what I thought we had booked.
