Yes as not classed as fully vaccinated. He will have to have a valid LFT negative result no older than 72 hours. I’m planning on taking my own to do for my 12 year old so we can do them in hotel room.

He will need a negative test no more than 24hrs before entering France and then a negative test no more than 72hrs old to enter Disney and restaurants etc. The easiest option seems to be to buy the test to take with you for when he needs it redoing in France

We’re off to DLP next week & just having a last minute panic ! My Son was 12 this month. So to confirm he now needs a non NHS PCR or LFT test within 24 hours of departure. Then as DLP requirement for health pass is for anyone aged 12 years & 2 months then he doesn’t need that. Then for return journey we all need a Day 2 test booked only. Thanks if you can put my mind at rest !

That sounds right. Unsure about the health pass as both mine are teens so not paid attention to what’s happening to younger kids. But, don’t forget - you’ll be able to use the result from the LFT that he does to enter France for 72 hours so if it is required for him to have one for accessing DLP, you’re already sorted for at least 72 hours. 👍🏻

Thanks for that, yes I’m going with that & like you said if we do need a health pass at least we will already have a negative test for when we get out there (hopefully! &#129310
