Back then we went every second or third year. I do remember the following winter that we went when it was cold, that it was even colder. I want to say this was 2009 and 2010?

December 2009 & 2010 were abnormal for Florida; a weather fluke (jet stream was doing the opposite of what it was supposed to?).
Not saying it wouldn’t happen again but those winters were agreed as not the norm and (hopefully) very rare.
