Character dining
Hi want to book a character meal for our family in May, wanted some recommendations, we went to chef Mickey in 2009 and wanted to try something different. We have 2 boys 13 and 11 and a daughter 7?

We have been to the following
Cape May Cafe - buffett style, relaxed and airy restaurant at the Beach Club resort, Donald, goofy and Minne appear if I remember correctly O'hana - family style, which means they bring large plates of food to share to your table. Polynesian resort on the Magic Kingdom monorail loop - lilo and stitch, Pluto and Mickey appear Hollywood and vine - buffet lunch at Disney Hollywood studios - Sofia the first, handy manny, doc mcstuffins and jake from jake and the neverland pirates. Food was good at all of the above and we enjoyed the character interaction. I understand that Chef mickeys is very noisy and manic so any of these will seem relaxed |

Three of my children were 7, 11 & 13 when we were there last year.
They loved: Tusker House @Animal Kingdom with Donald & friends Chef Mickey Ohana's with LILO & Stitch Garden Grill & Akershus are also popular and we went to both but they weren't as keen on the food here although the character interaction was great at both. |

Cape May cafe breakfast is great! Happily ever after ball at 1900 park fare is also nice if you prefer an evening.

Your best option would be to check via mde on the website, if you're lucky you might pick up a cancellation.

Back from WDW last week - can really recommend Tusker House where we had breakfast. Our most disappointing was The Crystal Palace for lunch where the characters seemed as if they couldn't really be bothered and the service was quite honestly dreadful. Maybe we were just unlucky
