Well I caved and have been watching the new series with the new judges, DH gets it via Plex somehow.
I am on episode 31 and they have just started social distancing during filming. They are saying the right words, good at using hand sanitizer and wearing gloves, but there are times when they probably could be a bit further apart, the judges are keeping their distance but contestants not as much. |

Ahh we caved in too and started watching at the weekend - but really only want to see a few a week to try and stretch it out 🙂. Was interested in what they would do when social distancing etc came in.

Yes I was thinking it must be soon as I had a rough idea of when they filmed it. The episode today was a team challenge, a relay, they are keeping their distance when they are not doing anything and each team did a kind of virtual team hug at the end. They just forget themselves the odd time during handover and also they all had to pick an apron out of a bag the judge was holding.

I think it might take a series to fully build up their dynamic as a trio, but they are growing into it and individually they are not doing too bad. Gordon Ramsay did the whole of the first week with them and was more or less head judge that week, I think that was a good idea to help them settle in. Also the returning contestants was probably a good idea to help the judges settle in, as they are more confident on TV and they kind of take up some of the work in keeping the entertainment going.
Melissa and Andy are high energy, Jock slightly less so but as the experienced chef he brings something else to the table and is probably my favourite of the three. |

Just on the first episode so looking forward to seeing how they get on. Very clever to get Gordon Ramsey to do the first week and have returning contestants. Love seeing some of them back especially Callum and Chris.

My DH uses a system called Plex and it appears on there, I have no idea how, that is his department.
