When we went in 2019 we had Landry card and just turned up.

Unfortunately was a mediocre dinner and extremely poor service so won’t be returning.

Kids liked the dinosaurs though

You can book an ADR, or if all up but you would probably have to wait a while. If you can’t get an ADR through Disney you can usually get one on Open Table. You can also get a Landrys card which means you can walk up and you get priority seating.

It’s a very marmite place, we’ve eaten there 3 times and always enjoyed the food and had good service. Just take it for what it is, noisy, dark, family friendly but it’s also good fun and a different experience!

We haven’t been for a few years but plan on going next year. We love these themed restaurants like T Rex and Rainforest Cafe. They are loud but we enjoy them. The Landry Card is such a bonus as you can just turn up when you want so you’re not tied to an adr. I’ve ordered another Landry card for my wife as it’s her birthday in August (for real) and we plan on going to T Rex and Rainforest Cafe so we will get the cost of the card back ($25) on the first visit and the birthday reward ($25) on the second visit.

Definitely get a Landry card,we love T-rex,never had a bad meal or bad service, even on Christmas Day the Landry card gets us seated almost right away when the queue outside is long .

When we visited in 2019 although we had an ADR we still had about a 15 minute delay and those se without reservations were waiting well in excess of an hour.
So I would recommend booking an ADR if you could get one.

We booked with ADR but people were going on standby for a table. I would recommend ADR.
