They will not be in the sale scheduled flights are only released 11 months in a dance booking a flight longer ahead of that will be booking a flight that does not yet exist at an overinflated price
If I was looking for Easter or summer 2020 I would not book before the Christmas sale next year |

I've just checked for Easter 2020, as a Flydrive with VH. Doesn't look very Sale like at £1500 each for Economy classic.

The flights are not released yet so the travel agent can only offer this by taking a guess on the price and the they add a bit more to cover themselves.
Anyone booking a flight over 11 months out will never get the best price. I have generally got the best price booking in this sale period for whatever dates I want the next year whether February Easter, August or October. I understand that people are chomping at the bit to book a flight 16 months ahead and that’s fine as long as you don’t want to get the best price. This yea4 we went to Denver and flew back from LA we booked at the end of August for October we paid £960 with seat res and luggage for 2A 1C at half term. |

Whilst schedule flights are available 11 months out, package holidays are available much sooner.
Go to Virgin Holidays and as a minimun select a flydrive, it's usual to minimise the car and not take the additional insurance.

But the flights you are “booking” do not exist you are paying a premium for booking too far ahead as I explained the TA does not know the cost so take a punt and adds a bit.
I get people wanting to book far in advance so they can start planning, some people say start saving but I don’t quite understand how you can’t save money until after they book anyway as long as people know that by booking too far in advance they will never pay the lowest price it’s fine but everyone should be aware of that. |

I have this afternoon booked flights directly with Thomas Cook Airlines for the first two weeks in June 2020 (MAN-MCO). We flew with TC on our last Orlando holiday without any issues (booked those flights 15 months in advance). Similar flights might well be cheaper in a year's time but DH and I considered £1900 for three return flights (premium class on return) to be reasonable and wanted to secure our dates. I think it's all relative to what one is willing to pay vs how long one is willing to wait before booking. Personally, we're a little OCD with planning ahead! Just remember to clear those cookies if you do subsequent searches on the same website, otherwise the prices might sneak up.

Currently waiting for DDP deal to be released in April before we book, then we will book directly with Disney for this part of the holiday and flights with BA - this will be our first holiday breaking away from booking directly through a travel agent.

Have just seen TUI fly from Bristol, as we are in the southwest this is very appealing. Package holiday flights and the new universal hotel for 2689 for 2 adults
