West coast stay, help please...

We are flying into Miami with an overnight stay. Following day we are travelling up to Fort Myers to stay at the Sandpiper Gulf resort. Looks lovely and right on the beach.

We’ve decided on pink shell resort Fort Myers. I’ll try and do a little review when we’re back. Thank you for everyone’s advice.
Any fort Myers advice on where to eat would be great appreciated x

There are the usual chain restaurants (Bahama Breeze, Longhorns, Carrabbas, Outback, etc) but for local places I would suggest: Nervous Nellies, Mr Tequila, First Watch, The Yucatan, Ford’s Garage and The Prawnbroker. If you go over to the islands of Sanibel and Captiva we liked The Bubble Room, The Mucky Duck, Island Cow and The Green Flash - all really good.

Concur on First Watch been in the Bradenton on and its lovely you will have a great time
