I’m with Claudette. I look at where I’m going and when, book the headliners for each park and fill in from there.
That’s exactly what I did for my recent trip and I got everything I wanted for day one and for day 14
Including FOP x2 SDD x2 etc.

Like you, at first I was overwhelmed with this FP stuff, don’t worry. Sort out a rough schedule and work with that, then adapt around what you have got. Nothings set in stone. We ended up not using either of our SDD FPs or one of the FOPs and changed plans when there.

Agree with everyone's points on here.

- Plan your days way in advance. Remember some parks now have a tiered system, so you need to plan multiple days at each parks.

- Work out your must do Fastpasses

- Get your Fastpasses for early AM e.g. 9am -10am, but then ride other rides at rope drop and do your first fastpass at 9.59am.

- Keep refreshing that god damn app over and over whilst you're there. (Take a powerbank for your phone). The amount of times I've gone onto the app, and seen no fastpasses available, only to keep refreshing over and over for 10 minutes to then get one straight away for Tower of Terror/Everest/Magic Kingdom Mountains. People give them up, or exit the park, or don't show up.

- Other than Flight of Passage and Slinky Dog Dash - you can pretty get fastpasses for anything whilst your out there too, so don't panic too much if you want to change plans!
