Where did you hear that? The reason I ask is that I don't know how the Poly cms could police it. Non-Poly residents go to the Poly for dinner, drinks etc, eg Ohana and Trader Sams are extremely popular and open to everyone.

On here at some point! We have eaten at Ohanas and watched from the beach and loved the peacefulness so was disappointed to read it!

We’ve stayed at the Poly and the beach was always open to anyone to watch the fireworks from, wether they were guests at the Poly or not. There are occasions where they do restrict access to the beach to watch the fireworks to guests only, but it’s only on special occasions, I think 4th July is one of those times.

As an aside, we stayed at GF this past summer and our room was in the Sago Cay building. Right outside it, in front of gasparilla island grill and overlooking the marina is another great spot to watch the fireworks from

I've seen it mentioned a few times over the last year or so on here, but i had no issue in June.
