Would that be sufficient?
Possibly not as it says that the primary driver should be a member and may be asked to show their membership card. (But they say that about the brits guide as well) They have a number to call which should be able to help. 0800 0147386

always tempted to leave the car and try an uber one day for getting to the parks. Can defo see how it saves stress as my dad hates driving over there and is currently using uber to get around with my mother and it has made his holiday.

I enjoy driving over there as there is something nice driving down American roads with the stereo blasting. If only I could convince the wife to let me get a mustang.

Ive calculated that we will save a fortune (and stress) by not renting a car.
If you don’t mind could you keep a note of all your journeys and a running and total cost and post it as a thread or trip report. I think it could make for interesting reading and help many of us make a decision in the future as to hiring a car.
Sorry op for hi jacking your thread.

Thanks for this!

Just booked 19 days in July/August standard SUV - £487. I’m pleased with that as I had budgeted around £600...

I prefer being in control of my car journeys and know that I am fully insured, too many stories of Uber drivers and poor maintained cars and no insurance.
Plus I lije to travel around Florida, seeing places not on the tourist routes

Sorry, only just made my first booking with them but I have a full membership. Didn’t even know you could have an online membership until reading this thread.

Hi Was it Hertz through Costco?
Do you think it was full insurance, no hidden extras?

Hi,

Yes, Hertz through Costco.

From all the research I have done online and on this forum, reading all the T&C's, as far as I am aware, yes everything is included, no hidden extras.

Ali.
