Seaworld Orlando

We are planning a trip to Seaworld when we visit Florida next month. I was wondering if anyone knew when the new ride, Infinity Falls opens? Also does anyone know about what queuing is like at this park and what are the worst waiting times etc? Thanks

I think for most rides you’ll be fine, with reasonable wait times, maybe half hour.

I don't know how late May compares to off-peak around Easter, but we visited in the week preceding the easter holidays (Easter was at the end of the holiday, so it was 2 1/2 weeks before that weekend). Our waiting times were, as I recall:

Mako: 2 minutes / 1 minute
Kraken: 5 minutes
Manta: 12 minutes
Journey to Atlantis: 35 minutes

Mako was being sent out with empty trains as the demand was that low. On the second ride, the two of us were the only people on the entire train, at midday. A bit worrying, to be honest!

The rest of the park was moderately busy and shows were near-full, but I don't think the park is busy enough to see that many people over 54" willing to separate from those under/unwilling to ride the biggest rides.

On that basis, with being new, I imagine the queues for Infinity Falls, when it opens, will be fairly substantial, but certainly not Disney levels. Can't say if it's likely to open by the end of May though, I'd have expected an announcement by now if it was due to open soon.

The latest rumours for infinity falls suggest late June opening. They originally where aiming for late may however have fallen behind. The latest construction photos show they have a long way to go yet, so unsure if they will meet their target of end of June or not.

Not sure about the new ride but you will tend to find Seaworld a very quiet park these days, meaning there will be fewer queues for any of the rides.
