Fishing off Rod and Reel pier.
Visited Mote Marine and bird sanctuary.
Did a boat trip and saw dolphins/manatees and went snorkling.

Places we ate which we enjoyed:

The Waterfront (fine dining)
Starfish Co (takeout fresh sea food in laid back waterside setting)
Skinnys (burgers in a ramshackle bar)
Rod and Reel Pier ( cafe atmosphere with fantastic views)
Ginny and Jane's (shop/cafe lovely coffee/smoothies/breakfast stuff interesting shop)
Peachs ( traditional USA style cafe in a mini shopping mall with huge lovely breakfast)

next time we are intending to try:
Bridge Street Bistro
Sandbar
as we liked the look of these but didn't get around to trying them.

We also want to parasail so I'd be interested in any recommendations for that.
Hi

I'd definitely recommend The Sandbar and Poppo's Taqueria. We stumbled across Poppo's whilst looking for The Donut Experiment (next door) which was closed. We decided to have lunch there and the food was excellent. Can't wait to go back in August.
There are links in my food trip report in my signature if you want to have a look.

When we visited for 1 night back in 2014 we noticed lots of people were driving around on hired golf buggies.

Looked great fun and a nice way to get around.

When we go again we intend to stay for 3 nights and hire one.
