MCO to IDrive. A guide for a dummy?

Hi. Driven before in Orlando with no issue but have collected the hire car from hotels the next day rather than MCO. Can someone please give me clear instructions from MCO to Idrive leaving from the Avis garage at the B side terminal? Will I have toll roads and what kind of traffic should I expect around 6pm on a week day?

I would use the 528 Beachline. There used to be 2 x tolls but they got rid of one and changed the price on the other. It is $2.25 for the one remaining toll and if you want to pay cash it's really easy to keep to the right and use the cash only lanes of which there are two. Thinking about it there may even be three lanes for cash.
The 528 is very well signposted from the airport complex.

The I Drive exit is very well signposted and isn't that far a drive after you have passed the OBT and John Young Parkway exits.

As Tom says the airport roads are really well signposted, just stick to the lane for the 528 and you'll be fine. The lane signs are overhead.
The exit from the garage is no problem either. Just one way to go so no chance of a wrong turn.

Whilst on the airport road you may feel you are going the wrong way as its on a big loop and you get a feeling of going in the wrong direction, but it's fine. With it being a loop, if you do miss the turnoff, don't panic, just continue round and you will come to the same exit again.
