Mobile Would you change to a villa?

Currently on holiday on a cruise with the kids and it’s making me re think our Florida holiday.

We have booked a studio room with virgin but have asked to upgrade With the hotel to a two bed suite.

We are now wondering if to change to a 4 bed villa.

I love I drive. I like walking up and down there and having a nosy but I think I might be remembering it as a couple like that. With kids I can see them moaning.

The villa has a private pool which is one of the reasons I would change.
But then we don’t get the free breakfast included like we do in the hotel.

What do you think

We stopped near I Drive as a couple and great as can walk about and have a few beers but went Villa last time and kids just loved having own pool. Booked again for July this year. Would go Villa every time now.

We do a spilt stay and finish up with a villa. Villa every time for us, kids are 13 & 11 and it just doesn’t work. This year we have 5 nights at Disney and 8 in a villa, free breakfast wouldn’t even come in to the decision as you can you can take cereals/brioche from home. The space in a villa and your own pool has totally outweighed how we holiday now and I don’t think we could go back to apartments/condos.

I like hotels at the moment as a couple but I think having your own pool is such a dream for British kids that I would chose a villa over an off-site hotel.

We have stayed in villas last two trips, after several hotel stays on I Drive and LBV. We love the space of the villas, just me and DH, we had a 6 bedroom villa last year in Windsor Hills. (we booked a five bed to get a bigger pool area, came as a six)!

With kids too, the extra space is ideal. You can always pop back to I Drive if you really need to. Although the 192 area has similar places to eat. Not somewhere we walked along though.

We always opt for a villa. The pool is such a hit with the kids and there's so much space, freedom and privacy.

Saying that, we have stayed in a 2 bed at OKW which I would do again for the on site benefits. If not on site, villa every time!

I'd always choose a villa if traveling with children. It's much more relaxed, everyone has their own space. Plus, a pool to yourself.

Out of interest, if you return to Disney on the 8 nights after the 5 in the onsite Hotel, will you be eligible for fastpass booking 60 days prior to those 8 days? Or just the 5 days?
