Mobile And now the jetlag has hit!

Been home since Sunday morning and was hit with flu! So I’ve been bedridden since we got home and sleeping most of the day and night. Felt a little bit better this afternoon and even managed to do pancakes - with help from the kids as hubby went away for a few nights for work this morning. Felt exhausted again around 10pm and came to bed - still lay here wide awake! Any tips?!

Bit late for you this time, but we now bring back some melatonin gummies (sold in any wal mart etc). We then take them for 3 or 4 nights when home and they basically mean no jet lag for us. Used to really struggle without them.

Ah will look into melatonin if we head that way again. I eventually fell asleep after 5am (last time I checked clock!) but was up at 7am to get kids to school! This is the worst I’ve ever been - but I think the flu is still lingering too. I’ve now no idea what to do. They say rest when you have flu (I’m still achy and full of it) but I need to sleep tonight!

Night nurse tonight then - like others I swear by melatonin but if you have cold or flu then night nurse will help you sleep

I’ll see if I can get a nice neighbour to get me some night nurse. Hubby is away with work until Friday (god knows how he managed to get back in a plane on Tuesday!) so I’m having to rely on neighbours for favours!
