At least Universal have opened a new park ( Volcano Bay) which is world class. I will let them off

We paid £798 for 2 adult 14 day Disney ultimate tickets as we were planning to go next month. Holding off until May next year now but if we were to buy those same tickets for 2021 they would cost us £918 at the moment. A crazy price jump!

Universal was 74 in 2010, that is when I think the first harry potter stuff opened... the increases are crazy.

I do find now that I cringe on the daily cost of going to the parks.. never used to. very hard to justify in my head now, just glad i've been so lucky to have been when we have.

It works out at about £30 odd quid a
day for transport and entry to six parks ,plus photos, good value in my book.

It is only good value if you go every day. Many of us have interests outside of Disney and as such, the value argument collapses with every visit to the numerous other world class attractions in the area.

In the years before we stopped buying, we were down to 1 visit to each Disney park. Suddenly it was lousy value... Then you add on the shameless gouging with every item that you buy.

Universal is now also priced out and we simply look to a limited time in the Orlando area with a D.C. ultimate, astounding value last summer at £160pp including all food and drink at D.C. plus AQ, SW, BG for 14 days and free parking throughout.

Can’t believe companies also want to charge you amendment fees even if they are keeping your money for future bookings
I might look at a refund and then source the cheapest tickets a hassle but money wise will be worth it

I think Disney may need to rethink if the US goes into the economic decline and the number of people out of jobs keeps going up. But then again they maybe think they will have to put so many additional measures in place they need to increase cost to offset that.
Or even they may decide to double the price which would in fact decrease attendance but make the same profit.
